In January 2017, Adam affiliated with LPL Financial to provide exceptional service to his clients and rebranded his firm Ulen & Hogue Financial. In 2020, to continue his growth as an advisor, Adam merged his practice with two other local firms to create Northern Peak Financial.

Adam decided to become a financial planner when he was in the Army. He realized that some of his soldier friends needed assistance with their financial lives. He knew he loved investing and was a good saver so he decided to use his GI Bill to get degrees in business and financial planning to help people.
